Eric Bieniemy’s son Elijah arrested in shooting of Chiefs coach’s wife



 Eric Bieniemy's wife, Mia Bieniemy, 57, was shot at their home in Ashburn, Virginia on Sunday night. She was shot in the chest and arm and is in stable condition.


Their 27-year-old son, Elijah Zion Bieniemy, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in a felony, and discharging a firearm inside a dwelling. He is being held without bond in Loudoun County.


Eric Bieniemy was with the Chiefs at training camp in Missouri at the time. He left camp to be with his family. Head coach Andy Reid called Mia "a saint" and said pass game coordinator Joe Bleymaier will take over Eric's duties for now.
