Short News: Commonwealth Gymnastics Team Final


Canada won men’s artistic team gold with 241.400, ending England’s bid for a 4th straight title. England took silver with 238.250 and Australia bronze with 235.650.


The final was overshadowed by England’s Gabriel Langton, 19, who fell head-first from high bar and was taken off on a stretcher. He later moved his legs and hands and was applauded by the crowd. 


Teammate Luke Whitehouse competed right after and said “gymnastics is such a dangerous sport.” 


Canada’s first team gold since 2006.
