Netflix exec goes ballistic after being fired for stunning ‘trust exercise’ confession at retreat: su
Kevin Baillie, former VP and head of creative at Netflix’s Eyeline Studios, was fired in April 2026 from his $1.1 million/year job after sharing at a company “trust exercise” that he had taken medically prescribed ketamine for depression in late 2022.
He says Netflix investigated him for it, and his lawyer claims the company cited the ketamine therapy as a factor in the firing and denied him severance. Baillie’s lawsuit also mentions the company’s drinking culture and alleges profanity was not an issue before.
He’s suing for a jury trial, lost wages, emotional distress damages, and punitive damages. Netflix and Eyeline have been contacted for comment.
